2025 Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Culture Week

2025-04-23

Join us for Indigenous Culture Night on Sunday, April 27, as part of the 2025 Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Culture Week! Faculty and students are warmly invited to register and take part in the celebration.

How long has it been since you walked barefoot on the grass?
How long has it been since you hugged the mountains and forests?
How long has it been since you laughed, screamed, and let all the stress out?

We’ve all forgotten.
But Indigenous Literature Night will help you remember—and not just remember, but want to come back again and again!

On April 27, our annual Indigenous Literature Night is back and bigger than ever!
This year, we’re leveling up—from a cozy lounge to a full-blown open-air stage!
You used to say, “I’ve never heard of it,” but now, you have no excuse.

We don’t have Coachella,
but we’ve got CoachMai pulling you on stage for a wild sing-along.
We don’t have Alessia Cara,
but we’ve got Cara from the Humanities Department (who’s that?) belting it out at our outdoor karaoke.
We don’t have Beyoncé,
but we do have free food boxes(limited quantity available)—yes, free and fabulous.

We don’t have Keshi,
but we’ve got Lucy, who’ll dance her way into your heart.
And we don’t have A-Meibecause you haven’t shown up yet.

We’re setting our sights on becoming the PASIWALI of Northern Taiwan,
and this is our very first edition—which means if you come, you’re part of history.
Show up, and you’re instantly cool.
Even better—you’ll get a free meal, but you gotta sign up!

Seriously, mark April 27 on your calendar.
Come laugh, sing, and let go with us under the stars at Indigenous Literature Night.
We promise—it’s a night you’ll never forget.
