Planning development – new build standards
The University ensures all new buildings and renovations comply with the Taipei City Green Building Autonomy Act, Hsinchu City’s regulations, and Green Building Label guidelines. The University currently has ten EEWH-certified green buildings, including five certified, two bronze, two silver, and one diamond-level building, all continuously recognized under the Green Building Label. The second phase of the Innovation Incubation Building at the Shilin Campus is underway, aiming for Green and Intelligent Building certifications focusing on energy efficiency. Additionally, NYCU collaborates with Delta Electronics to provide green and intelligent building solutions for the Zhiyuan Building. This project integrates IoT-based infrastructure with an automated system, enabling Delta Electronics to help reduce construction costs while offering energy management, computerized controls, system integration, and security monitoring, improving overall operational efficiency.
