Waste tracking

The university has a clear policy to track the amount of waste generated and recycled across campus. Non-recyclable waste is sent to incineration facilities equipped with power generation units that utilize recovered heat for electricity production. The amount of recycled waste and waste sent for incineration is recorded monthly. Additionally, all hazardous laboratory waste is managed by certified contractors. These wastes are carefully weighed and recorded before being removed for safe disposal.
