Climate Action Plan, shared

■NYCU has established climate action plans and actively collaborates with local governments and non-governmental organisations. On 15 August 2023, the university held a ceremony to sign an MOU with the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE). Through this agreement, NYCU committed to upholding ESG sustainability principles and working with governments, NGOs, and university partners to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

■In December 2023, NYCU, in partnership with the American Climate Club (ACC), founded the “American Taiwan Climate Club” to promote carbon rights in international trade and advance the goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. This initiative aims to create greater value for Taiwan’s green economy and support sustainable development efforts.
