Neutral platform to discuss issues
NYCU values academic freedom and freedom of expression.
1. The university’s social media accounts provide a space for the free exchange of opinions without censorship. The NYCU Labor Union also ensures a communication channel between faculty and the university.
2. These values are integrated into various courses such as “Introduction to Islamic Civilization,” “Collective Labor Law and Unfair Labor Practices,” “Social Justice and Human Rights,” and “History of Russian Culture.”
3. The Law School and the International Center for Cultural Studies serve as platforms for students and researchers of diverse backgrounds to discuss global challenges.
4. The university offers full scholarships to Ukrainian refugee students. In 2023, 19 of the 26 admitted students are studying on campus after overcoming challenges such as visas, travel, and pandemic restrictions.
5. All information is publicly available, and platforms are open for participation.
