Education for SDGs commitment to meaningful education

■ NYCU commits to a meaningful education of United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. In 2023, we offered 12,807 courses related to the SDGs. The top 3 SDG that had been taught were SDG 4, 3, and 8. All courses and programs align with multiple SDGs and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to local and global sustainability. ■ NYCU Sustainable and Peer Education Center (SPEC) regularly organizes events and lectures to enhance the sustainability literacy of faculty, staff, and students, as well as their understanding of climate change concepts.
■ NYCU regularly holds SDGs Webinars for faculty, students, and the general public for free.
