Events for local farmers and food producers

The College of Hakka Studies at our university is empowering the second generation of young farmers and, in collaboration with Taipei University of Technology, Open University, and Minghsin University of Science and Technology, has jointly established the “Hakka Village Good Tea” brand. The team conducts field visits to the tea farms of young farmers and, through a series of online entrepreneurship lectures and interviews with hands-on entrepreneurship programs, gains an understanding of the current business operations and actual needs. They offer feasible optimization strategies and explore potential cooperative alliances. Additionally, an entrepreneurial exchange platform is being developed with the aim of fostering new second-generation enterprises, encouraging young people to return to their hometowns to develop agricultural businesses, and strengthening the sustainability and growth capacity of local agriculture.
