Cooperation on water security
The “Disaster Prevention and Water Environment Research Center (DPWE), NYCU” has assisted various government agencies, including the New Taipei City Government, Hsinchu City Government (local and regional), and the Water Resources Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (national), in implementing flood-related response measures. Additionally, regional integration plans, such as the development of reservoir and river monitoring techniques, are being carried out to enhance public water safety. Furthermore, the “Environment Technology & Smart System Research Center (ETSS), NYCU” participates in the Qingdao International Water Conference and Expo to showcase the university’s research and international industry collaborations on water-related issues.
