Employment policy on discrimination

NYCU is committed to providing a working environment free of discrimination and bullying, where all employees are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal opportunities. We have established guidelines for the prevention and handling of workplace sexual harassment and gender discrimination and have made it clear that discrimination and bullying will not be tolerated, condoned, or ignored at NYCU. If a claim of discrimination or bullying is proven, disciplinary measures will be applied, up to and including termination of employment. Moreover, the university has the Gender Equity Education Committee and provides an effective and fair complaints procedure, which aims to protect employees from gender discrimination, harassment and violence.
