NYCU won the top 5 award in Environmental Protection Administration’s Green Catering Service and Waste Reduction Action Competition

In response to a letter from the Ministry of Education on the implementation of the trial of the “Guidelines for Administrative Agencies and Schools to Reduce the Use of Disposable Tableware and Packaged Drinking Water,” the Environmental Protection and Safety and Health Center of NYCU coordinated the development of related plans. The various units within the university cooperated excellently in implementing the guidelines.

As a result, the university was recommended by the Ministry of Education to participate in the Environmental Protection Administration’s Green Catering Service and Waste Reduction Action Competition – Environmental Pioneer Group, and received the special honor of being among the top 5 in the nation.

On 25 April 2023, the university participated in the commendation ceremony and press conference for this achievement.
