Guarding the Elderly Action Plan

2023-07-31

The office of NYCU’s Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility Promotion organized a “Prevention of Financial Fraud at the Senior Citizenship” awareness seminar, attended by about 40 senior citizens.

Vice Principal Chou Chien presided over the event, and Professor Lin Chih-Chieh of the NYCU’s Institute of Technology Law was invited to give a speech on-site. The objective was to raise awareness of the principles and precautions of financial management for the elderly.

During the event, students from the Department of Information Management and Finance performed a drama to promote ways to prevent fraud and to help the elderly to complete a questionnaire on the financial risk of the elderly.

Through this seminar, they hoped to strengthen the importance and principles of financial management for the elderly and ensure a secure and stress-free life in their later years!
