Assistance to low-carbon innovation

NYCU continues to assist low-carbon start-up industries through the From Labs Advance Potential Success service platform and industry-academia collaboration plans. We play a vital role in facilitating industry cooperation and helping start-up companies succeed. We help to solve problems and provide matchmaking for technologies, funds, and markets. In 2021, the University’s Center for Industry-Academia Collaboration helped seven emerging low-carbon companies with the development of renewable energy and energy-saving technologies, such as biogas upgrading power generation and microturbine generators. The University also signs multiple industry-academia collaboration plans each year and helps start-up industries develop lithium cells, renewable energy, and smart energy-saving systems, for example, using ionic liquid electrolyte technology to develop lithium cells. The University aims to work with corporations to help Taiwan’s low-carbon and sustainable development.
