  • The Yangming Campus has created the “Yangming EASY GO-Electronic Map of Building Accessibility Facilities on Campus”, and conducted a site survey with reference to the latest “Code for Design of Accessible Facilities in Buildings” issued by the Ministry of the Interior on January 4, 2018. There were 353 places that did not meet the requirements of the latest design specifications, and all improvements were completed in 2010. Each campus building currently has at least one accessibility facility (passage, lift, toilet, and washroom) that meets the regulations. When it is redecorated or renovated, it is designed according to the latest regulations.

  • In recent years, the Chiaotung University campus has focused on the optimization of accessible toilets and elevators in the buildings. In addition to providing auxiliary facilities that comply with laws and regulations, it is also committed to simplifying the spatial design to improve the use of public spaces. In addition to improving the aesthetics of the space, recently completed large-scale projects such as the new construction of the student dormitory no. 3 and the renovation of the sixth floor of the library also effectively integrated the auxiliary functions of various accessibility facilities, improved safety and facility continuity, and enhanced the friendliness of spaces for public gatherings.
