Providing diverse learning opportunities and supporting the education of disadvantaged students

In 2021, the school held a total of 16 educational lectures, including 10 online lectures, to support learning needs during the epidemic and hosted nearly 1,000 participants.

As information technology and digitalization continue to advance, NYCU’s Teaching Development Center launched the “Digital Learning and Exploration Courses” in 2022, in addition to conducting physical lectures, workshops, and online lecture courses, thus providing learners with more freedom and flexibility in making their study plans. From January to June 2022, NYCU held 9 lectures and a series of courses (including 4 digital learning exploration courses launched on the E3 digital learning platform). Topics include communication and leadership within student teams, management of learning teams, presentation design skills, etc. The course had about 800 participants in total.

In terms of academic study, the school employs excellent postgraduate students from master’s and doctoral programs as tutors according to the actual needs of disadvantaged students and provides them with multiple learning opportunities through a personalized teaching mechanism. In 2021, NYCU assisted more than 100 students. In addition to the basic subjects, it also accepts applications for supplementary courses in advanced subjects to provide learning resources and support.
