The 2025 NYCU USR Achievements and Annual Report Presentation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Staircase Lecture Hall, 1F, EECS Building, Guangfu Campus.
The program includes the release of the USR Annual Report, keynote speeches, the USR Sustainability Exhibition, and project team sharing, offering a comprehensive experience of NYCU’s diverse achievements in University Social Responsibility (USR) and sustainable development.
✨ Event Highlights
1. USR Annual Report & Keynote Speeches
Gain insights into NYCU’s USR project outcomes and sustainability actions. We are also honored to invite USR and sustainability practice teams from National Chengchi University and National Cheng Kung University to share how they integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with USR, as well as their Social Return on Investment (SROI) research.
2. Sustainability Exhibition
Explore a wide range of NYCU’s USR and sustainability projects. A special highlight is the campus circular economy model, which showcases how pruned or retired campus trees are recycled and regenerated into useful items, extending the impact of campus sustainability practices to society.
3. Green Living Reward
Complete one exhibition visit or lecture attendance + an IG post (public) tagging the NYCU USR Office account, and present proof to redeem your reward during designated time slots. (Bring your own container; limited quantities available, 100ml per person per redemption, while supplies last.)

👉 What is Wood Vinegar?
Wood vinegar is a natural byproduct obtained from the recycling of pruned or retired campus trees. Through distillation, it can be transformed into eco-friendly daily-use cleaning liquids. By regenerating campus trees, NYCU not only practices circular economy and sustainable resource use, but also allows everyone to bring the spirit of campus sustainability into everyday life.
