Remote sensing enables the collection of large-scale and repeated data, and it’s suitable for observing various surface phenomena such as oceans, floods, forests, water resources, agriculture, and land use monitoring. The EO4SDG (Earth Observation for SDG) is an objective proposed by the Group on Earth Observations, and this course introduces the concept of the EO4SDG, allowing students to use remote sensing technology for pratical projects and explore topics related to SDG 6.6.1 (Water Resources), SDG 11.3.1 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 11.6.2 (Concentrations of fine particulate matter), SDG 15 (Land Ecosystem Conservation), and more.
