The Ewant platform of Yangming National Chiao Tung University participated in the “Mixed School 2024 International Education Innovation Expo”. The Vice President personally visited the scene to encourage and affirm the outstanding team who have been deeply involved in Taiwan’s education!
The National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University’s ewant open education platform exchanged ideas with more than 500 learning institutions and educational groups from 50 countries around the world, as well as more than 1,500 people who care about innovative education at the “Mixed School 2024 International Education Innovation Expo”, and conveyed the school’s mission for open education. At the same time, Vice President Mei-chin Hsiao also attended the event on the morning of July 19 to encourage and affirm the outstanding team that has been deeply involved in Taiwan’s education.
In this expo, our school showcased the outstanding results of the “Inter-school General Education Digital Course Program” and the “SOS! Summer Online Academy” credit courses. To date, more than 40,000 college students have taken these two programs and obtained credits. Our school has also signed contracts with 70% of remote high schools and nearly 200 high schools in Taiwan to jointly promote the “High School and Vocational Digital Learning Improvement Program” to encourage high school students to use digital courses for independent learning. During the exhibition, every day, the course team that cooperated with Ewant, the principals of county and city high schools, and the teachers and students who used the platform to teach came to meet and take photos, enriching the Ewant event site!
Through this exhibition, the ewant team fully represented the school, demonstrated the core spirit of teaching without discrimination, fair and high-quality education, and advocating lifelong learning, and echoed the specific results of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to inspire more educational possibilities.
