Allow remote working

The University promotes remote work and a condensed workweek as standard practice to cut commuting and emissions.
•Compressed Workweek (Summer): Staff may complete a five-day workload in four days, reducing commute trips while improving work–life flexibility.
•Remote Work & Teaching: Administrative operations and academic activities (meetings, lectures, seminars) run on secure online platforms. NYCU provides training, authenticated access to university systems, cloud collaboration tools, and virtual-meeting services—so teams remain productive, connected, and engaged from anywhere.
Together, these policies institutionalize low-carbon commuting, expand flexibility, and sustain continuity of operations without sacrificing service or educational quality.
