The University has gradually integrated the payment services of the Yangming and Chiaotung campuses to make them consistent, provide teachers and students with common and diverse financial services, and eliminate the inconvenience of restrictions from space and payment platforms.
- In May 2011, the Yangming Campus installed EasyCard debiting machines in the Division of Registrar, the Library, and the Division of Student Assistance of Yangming Campus, so that students can complete payments for processing over the counter, thus reducing the need to go back and forth between various units and the cashier.
To provide convenient services for all teachers and students of the school, a cashier service charge point has been set up at the joint service center of the administrative building on the mountain and the TCM building off of the mountain, and service to nearby related units has also been expanded to solve the existing inconveniences of the mountainous area of the university. In addition to the ATM originally installed in the Zhixing Building on the mountain, a second ATM was built off of the mountain for teachers and students. Both ATMs provide bilingual interfaces (Chinese and English), making it simple for foreign students to use.
- Since 2011, the Chiaotung Campus has installed EasyCard debiting machines in various administrative units in the University to provide teachers and students with a streamlined application/payment process at one location, reducing the need to travel back and forth among different units for payment. Thus far, implementation has shown positive outcomes. In addition, since 2019, the campus QR code scanning payment system has been launched, combining multiple payment methods, such as JKO Pay, Line Pay, Gama Pay, and Alipay. The QR Code payment mechanism is currently being promoted in sectors including sports facilities rental, overdue fines for borrowing books in the library, and applications for automobile and motorcycle passes. In addition, starting from the second semester of 2019, all foreign students both at home and abroad can use international credit cards (UnionPay cards) to pay their credit and other expenses.
