Hey gentlemen, Christmas is just around the corner, sparkling everywhere. Have you figured out how you want to spend it?Legend has it that there’s a “Sophomore Christmas Curse” circulating on university campuses—If you haven’t “escaped singledom” before Sophomore Christmas, you might stay single until graduation QQ. Have you broken the curse? Does hearing about this legend make you anxious?
Navigating the waters of love is truly challenging. While the single life seems liberating, there are many unfriendly noises about “losers,” pushing us to seek companionship. Finding a partner is even more difficult, involving a journey of expectations and disappointments. Everyone says the ambiguous phase is crucial, but advancing could lead to harassment, stepping back may result in no progress. When faced with unwanted advances, we don’t want to be the bad guy, but how can we reject gracefully to maintain the original friendship? Once in a relationship, there are even more challenges: relationship adjustments, boundary communication, trust and betrayal, and the issues of life planning…
Don’t worry; perhaps we just haven’t had the opportunity to learn the skills of love. Let’s earn some love credits together! For this event, we’ve invited Chairman Guo Hongguo from the Taiwan Sexology Association. He is an expert in gender, emotions, and sexual education. Starting from the perspective of men, he will share the difficulties one might encounter in the romantic process during the university stage. Against the backdrop of a changing social atmosphere due to gender movements, the culture of intimate relationships and gender expectations will also evolve. How should we deal with and handle various uncomfortable feelings?
