Multiple corporations cultivated by the National Yang Ming University Center for Industry–Academia Collaboration have endeavored to develop a sustainable and environmentally friendly green energy technology. The center has collaborated with the technology research and development division of the University to accelerate the commercialization of the products developed by these corporations. For example, JoTun Technologies Inc. has devoted itself to the development of gas purification technology, including the removal of odors and organic waste gasses. Xionghan Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on energy-saving services, and it has developed and established customized energy management systems. Megago Tech Co., Ltd. has integrated projects related to smart electric cars, autonomous cars, and green applications; furthermore, in doing so, it has collaborated with relevant manufacturers and suppliers. InnoKnight Inc. has developed an electric vehicle charging billing system to solve vehicle charging problems faced by electric car drivers using public power outlets at commercial buildings or in communities. Finally, AgriTalk Tech Inc. has endeavored to providing society with nontoxic, healthy, and environmentally friendly agricultural products. The company employed a comprehensive agriculture-based artificial intelligence smart technology management system, thereby serving as a paradigm for novel agriculture technology and nontoxic agriculture product suppliers.
In addition to cultivating successful corporations, the center has proactively assisted the University in its industry–academia collaborations on sustainable green energy development. For example, the center has collaborated with the Orchid House team of National Yang Ming University and Professor Chen Cheng-Huan to integrate a daylight illumination system with a green power-based skylight system and has also launched an industry–academia collaboration project with German manufacturers to construct sustainable energy houses.
