The Rebuild After PhD Industrial and Skill Expertise (RAISE) program aims to cultivate professor-level industrial elites. After completing in-service training, the elites are either matched and employed in key industries or steered toward entrepreneurship. Therefore, the RAISE program provides a platform that integrates industry, academia, and research fields to cultivate advanced talents, guide professor-level talents in devoting themselves to industrial applications, and employ advanced talents in diverse applications.
In the third phase of the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University RAISE program, the program will retain plans implemented in previous phases that have been well-received by both talents and industry manufacturers, such as inviting professional experts from various fields to participate, employing certain training methods, and providing one-on-one career counseling with experienced professional teachers in the field. Therefore, to support professor-level talents in employment or entrepreneurship, the program will enhance the cultivation of students’ abilities to take the initiative to develop their leadership abilities and rigorously select internship opportunities to advance their career.
Additionally, the program provides training opportunities for advanced talents to strengthen their international competitiveness, thereby cultivating talent for Taiwan’s key industries and contributing to the sustainable development of said industries by combining expertise from academic, medical, and industrial fields.
