Water is the source of all things in life. Conservation, utilization, and development of water resources are all correlated to human livelihood and industrial development, and even affect countries around the world. However, due to climate change in recent years, the water shortage has become a more and more frequent problem.
This seminar is aimed at responding to Taiwan’s future water shortage and supply limitations as well as the development of intelligent monitoring technology. Many scholars and specialists in the fields of seawater desalination, wastewater treatment, and intelligent monitoring are invited to this seminar. Among them, Professor Chi-Pin Huang from NYCU Institute of Environmental Engineering, will share his research and some field experience with the title of “My Views on Pretreatment Demands of Seawater Desalination Systems and Brine Discharge Issues in Taiwan”, and contribute to the development of Taiwan’s water resources.
