The ANNE Times: Aesthetic Smart Reading Project, an experimental publication project under the Curriculum Reform Initiative Taskforce Agenda for Art and Design Education Ministry of Education (CRIT-AADE), won the “DFA Asia’s Most Influential Design” award from the internationally renowned Hong Kong Design Center.
The ANNE Times publication takes aesthetic education as the starting point to inspire students’ lifelong learning ability. Since its release in February 2020, The Anne Times has covered evolution, earth and habitat, bacteria and viruses, ecology and sustainability, equal rights, and many more, with more than 150,000 copies circulated among students, teachers, schools, and households each issue. This project has also won the 3rd Future Education Taiwan 100 in 2021 and is also recognized by Japan Good Design Award 2020.
