10/01 Make the Turn, Own Your Next Move:

2025-09-10

Every career turn can be a chance for a fresh start. The Liberal Arts College is honored to host Ms. Fang-Wen Shao, Founder and General Manager of Energizing Consulting Corp., who will deliver a lecture titled “Make the Turn, Own Your Next Move: From Multinational Manager to Founder of a Tech Headhunting Firm.”

With more than 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry, Ms. Shao has held key leadership roles at global companies such as HP, Synopsys, ARC, and Quartics, achieving multiple record-breaking milestones with her teams. At the age of 41, she made the bold decision to “restart” her career by leaving a prestigious multinational executive position and founding her own headhunting firm. Over the past 14 years, she has successfully connected top-tier talent with leading technology companies worldwide, becoming a trusted partner for both clients and candidates.

In this lecture, Ms. Shao will share her personal journey of transformation and the lessons she has learned, offering invaluable insights into the mindset and qualities young people should cultivate in learning and work.
