Public access to green spaces

NYCU guarantees free, permanent public access to open and green spaces across all campuses. By treating land as a public good that supports health, inclusion, and shared identity, the University signals it is a commons, not a citadel. On the Yangming Campus, public passageways, plazas, and lawns are fully open, and mountain trails link the grounds to Battleship Rock, integrating scholarship with Taipei’s natural heritage. On the Guangfu Campus, the wide main gate welcomes visitors year-round to expansive greens, tree-lined paths, and public squares.
