Provide expert advice to government.

The university’s faculty actively contribute to government affairs by offering expertise at multiple levels.
• In 2024, NYCU faculty members served on more than 387 government policy-making committees.
• The university’s research centers also provide expert advice to national and local authorities. Key centers include the Research Center for Epidemic Prevention and One Health, the Disaster Prevention & Water Environment Research Center, the Environmental Technology & Smart System Research Center, the Center for Transpacific Partnership and Transnational Trade Laws, the Center for Digital Governance and Legal Innovation, and the Research Center for Financial Regulation and Corporate Governance.
