Low carbon energy tracking

NYCU measures the amount of low-carbon energy used across its campuses through the iAUTO-Energy management system, which provides real-time monitoring and control of energy consumption at the building and device levels. The system enables accurate tracking of renewable energy generation and usage. In 2024, total solar photovoltaic power generation reached 8,337.06 GJ, supported by rooftop solar installations with a combined capacity of 1,941.14 kWp. These facilities help reduce the university’s carbon footprint and promote sustainable energy management practices.
