Employment practice equivalent rights outsourcing

NYCU’s procurement and outsourcing rules require third-party/contracted workers assigned to the university to receive protections equivalent to those of our in-house staff. The university’s standard Engineering Procurement Contract Template obliges vendors to pay staff assigned to NYCU contracts at least the statutory minimum wage and to implement site safety and health measures in accordance with Taiwan’s Occupational Safety and Health Act. In addition, NYCU imposes personal-data and information-security checks on all outsourced services, ensuring contracted personnel working on campus are protected to the same standards as university employees.
