Air Pollution Action Piggy Bank Won the Outstanding Award in 2021 Air Quality Knowledge, Action, and Creativity Competition

2022-11-15

The Environmental Protection Agency of the Executive Yuan held the “2021 Air Quality Knowledge, Action, and Creativity Competition”, hoping to promote environmental education. Participants can learn about air quality policies through the government’s public information, and could also see whether the information meets people’s expectations; the competition encouraged students to provide creative ideas for air quality control policies. A team of three undergraduate students from NYCU’s College of Medicine, Hao Chen-Ai, Lin Ying-Tsen, and Shih Yu-Ju, designed the personal air pollution warning app “Air Pollution Action Piggy Bank” with guidance from Professor Chi Kai Hsien, winning the Outstanding Award.
