Students hunger interventions

The university provides comprehensive interventions to prevent and alleviate hunger among students. Our strategy combines direct financial aid and guarantees continuous access to affordable food.
■ Financial Interventions to Prevent Hunger
Our primary approach involves broad-spectrum financial aid programs designed to directly mitigate the risk of food insecurity for students facing economic hardship or emergencies.
•Emergency Financing: Provides NTD 5,000 to NTD 30,000 for urgent needs.
•Assistance for Disadvantaged Students: Offers NTD 24,000 per semester.
•Targeted Gift Cards: 10 students facing severe financial strain receive NTD 6,000 gift cards per semester for use at certain on-campus stores.
■ Access to Diverse and Affordable Food
We ensure students have continuous access to necessary food and resources. Each campus offers a wide range of dining options at various price points, complemented by 24-hour convenience stores.
■ Facilities for Meal Preparation
We provide infrastructure to help students save money and prepare their own meals. Dormitories are equipped with refrigerators, kitchen appliances, and/or shared kitchens, enabling residents to prepare their own meals. Free water dispensers are available across campus and in dormitories.
