Affordable housing for students

The University provides affordable student housing on every campus, offering single and multi-person rooms, suites, and family units to meet diverse needs. In 2024, the University provided 10,596 beds and accommodated 9,303 of the 19,022 enrolled students. Fees are charged per five-month semester and vary by room type: NT$5,125–NT$42,740 for single/multi-person rooms and suites, and NT$60,000–NT$81,000 for family units—well below typical market prices. Targeted support is available on the Yangming Campus: students meeting government low-income criteria receive discounted housing fees, and in some cases, fees may be waived for families with annual incomes below NT$300,000. These provisions reduce living costs, expand access to education, and support student success.
