Collaboration for SDG best practice

The university organises and participates in international workshops, webinars, and conferences that focus on sharing and refining best practices for SDG implementation. These platforms bring together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss comparative approaches and learn from one another’s experiences. Examples include:
■On September 6, 2024, at the Taiwan–Japan Science & Technology Dialogue, the NYCU President proposed an “international co-creation platform based on a university consortium.” The initiative emphasizes university-led alliances to deepen academic–industry collaboration with Japan and other partners, thereby enhancing Taiwan’s global influence in AI and semiconductors and bolstering supply-chain resilience.
■NYCU hosted the “”14th International Green Sustainable Biotechnology Symposium,”” connecting international researchers on low-pollution, circular, and environmentally benign biotech solutions with industry translation.
■ NYCU launched the “Brain, Behavior, and Dentistry” course with FutureLearn, disseminating evidence-based dental-neuroscience care education to learners in nearly 100 countries—an education best practice for patient well-being.
