Local community outreach for energy efficiency

Our university, through the NYCU Center for Continuing Education, offers open-enrollment programs for the local community on energy efficiency, clean energy, and net-zero/ESG. Recent public offerings include “International Dispute Resolution in Technology, ESG, and Energy” (July 3–5, 2024), “Applications of Semiconductor Materials in Energy Technology” (September 2, 2024 –January 4, 2025), and the “ESG Net-Zero Strategy Manager Course” (July 27–August 17, 2024; 7-day training). These short courses and workshops are accessible to residents and professionals, delivered on campus and online, and issue certificates—building community capacity in energy efficiency, clean energy literacy, and sustainable governance.
