Cooperation on water security

NYCU collaborates with local, regional, national, and international partners to promote water security.
■ The Disaster Prevention and Water Environment Research Center (DPWE) supports government agencies in implementing flood response measures, including those of the New Taipei City Government, Hsinchu City Government, and the Water Resources Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Regional integration initiatives, such as reservoir and river monitoring techniques, further enhance public water safety.
■ The Environment Technology & Smart System Research Center (ETSS) also participates in international events, hosting the India-Taiwan International Water Forum, to share research and collaborate with global industry partners on water management and security. These efforts demonstrate the University’s engagement in multi-level water security cooperation.
