On October 17th, the International Health Program of College of Medicine and the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) held the “2022 Training Program for Senior Officials from Countries with Diplomatic Relations–Advanced Training Program on Strengthening Health Systems”, which lasted for four weeks. They cooperated with the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Hospital, the Public Health Bureau of Yilan County, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, Dun Ren Psychiatric Hospital, and the Medicine Vaccine Biologics Corporation to open up public health professional courses, giving officials from countries with diplomatic relations chances to receive training in Taiwan. This program enhances diplomatic ties and provides participants with opportunities to exchange their expertise in health care, achieving the vision to reinforce the health system.

The four-week training program included visiting corporations and foundations (e.g., technology and biotechnology companies, industry research institutes, and health agencies) and all kinds of courses and forums. Participants could have a deeper understanding of the important concept, new trends, and practical applications of public health from all different points of view.

為期 4週的培訓專班中,包含企業與機構智庫參訪、文化參訪、各類課程及論壇

In the future, NYCU will continue to work with ICDF to promote international relations, assist countries with diplomatic relations with their country development, and provide human training resources to developing countries, as a means to enhance diplomatic relationships.
