Policy waste disposal – landfill policy

The university is committed to resource recycling and waste reduction. The Waste Disposal Policy and Guidelines for Resource Waste Sorting and Recycling Practices provide clear instructions for waste classification and recycling. Waste collection is monitored monthly, with annual reports on total amounts generated. To encourage responsible practices, the university enforces a No Garbage on the Ground policy, requiring waste to be collected at designated points along a published route and schedule. All collected waste is delivered to an incineration plant, where heat recovery processes convert it into electricity.
