Divestment policy

In 2024, NYCU strengthened its responsible investment framework by issuing the Statement of Social Responsibility and Investment Principles, which publicly commits the university to prioritizing funds in companies aligned with ESG values and social responsibility. According to the 2024 Endowment Fund Investment List, NYCU maintains a diversified portfolio with limited exposure to carbon-intensive industries, focusing instead on enterprises that advance sustainability and ethical practices. At the same time, through the Centre for Industry-Academia Collaboration and Patent Strategy, NYCU continues to support start-ups engaged in SDG and ESG-related fields, helping them access resources and scale their impact. These measures demonstrate NYCU’s dedication to integrating sustainable finance with innovation and entrepreneurship.
