04/29 Seminar: Workplace & Daily Life Crisis Response and Self-Defense Training

2026-04-23

In daily life and future workplace settings, do you know how to properly assess risks and respond to unexpected situations?
Are you interested in learning how to identify potential dangers through others’ facial expressions and body language?

To enhance the self-protection awareness and crisis response abilities of faculty and students, the Office of Military Education has specially invited Instructor Wen-Kuo Hsu from the Juvenile Police Brigade, Taipei City Police Department.
Instructor Hsu is a recipient of the Taipei City Government Education and Training Golden Police Award, a national Taekwondo champion recognized by the National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior, and a graduate of the Special Operations Unit of the First Police Corps.

He will deliver a seminar on “Workplace & Daily Life Crisis Response and Self-Defense Training.”

In addition to introducing essential concepts for handling common risks in daily life and workplace environments, the session will also include hands-on basic self-defense instruction, personally demonstrated by the instructor. This will help participants strengthen both their safety awareness and practical self-protection skills.

Participants who attend the entire in-person session will receive a complimentary lunch box.
(Please note: Lunch boxes will not be provided to late registrants, partial attendees, or those who do not complete the post-event survey.)

We sincerely invite all faculty and students to register and participate!
